Working from home

Lockdown measures forced many people to work remotely during the global health crisis. Almost 40 percent of people working in the EU worked from home at the height of COVID-19, according to findings by the European Commission. Today, having emerged from the worst of the pandemic, 16 percent of companies worldwide still operate completely remotely, with another 40 percent offering a hybrid approach to work, allowing employees to divide their time between the workplace and home. 

The trend for working from home is not without its risks, however.
