Commercial mains lighting product line update

As a global leader in life safety systems, Eaton is committed to developing world class emergency lighting solutions and to sharing its expertise in these fields to enable customers and specifiers to provide effective protection of people, assets and reputation.

In order to add further strategic focus and resource to this important element of our business, after a process of consultations, we have begun a phased ramp down of our mains lighting product line produced at our UK Doncaster site.

As we undertake this process, please be aware of the following key details for our lighting customers:

• There will be no impact to warranty cover for mains lighting product you may have purchased. Eaton will maintain a UK based service team and the ability to repair and supply spares.
• Orders already placed with Eaton will be processed and delivered as agreed.
• All quotes already issued remain valid for the designated period (documented on the quote) and orders will be accepted and processed.
• We have now ceased quoting for new projects as of 31 October 2020.
• All emergency lighting commitments, support and services will be maintained and, in many cases, improved. Part of our consultation proposal includes the opening of a new facility in Doncaster to house our enhanced team and capabilities.
