A global industry challenge

Sadly, this is an industry wide problem present on all continents damaging brand reputations and putting lives at risk.

The sale of fake goods is an ever-growing problem, with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) estimating that the global trade of all counterfeit goods reached just over half a trillion dollars in 2016.
A recent report (2019 Europol press release) by Europol also shows the clear link between counterfeiting and organised crime groups.

Counterfeit products can kill by not protecting your building or its occupants. Businesses found selling, installing and using them, are risking to lose their reputation and could face prosecution and imprisonment. You need to know and check that the products that you are installing are genuine and safe. After all it is your reputation at stake.
