I started with Eaton almost 9 years ago as an intern and held various roles in Manufacturing and Marketing as an Operations Engineering Leadership Development Participant (LDP). After my LDP program was completed, I became an Associate Product Manager for wiring devices which sparked my passion for connected products. I joined the Connected Solutions team as Product Manager for smart breakers and now I am the Product Line Manager with responsibility for Eaton's Home Energy Management offering.

From a project perspective, I have been fortunate to work on a variety of impactful products, ranging from traditional transmissions and clutches to cutting-edge electrification solutions like converters and power distribution units. Each of these projects has contributed to Eaton's transition towards a more sustainable and innovative future and knowing that my work plays a part in this transformation is incredibly fulfilling. On a more personal level, the opportunity to collaborate with passionate and committed colleagues has been immensely rewarding. My assignment in France, for example, allowed me to share knowledge and learn from a diverse team, enhancing both my professional skills and personal growth. What excites you most about Eaton's future? How has the company evolved since you joined?

Eaton's broad product portfolio and capabilities are very well matched to the Megatrends we see on the planet - increasing energy efficiency, enabling the increasing data flow and AI coming with it, and improving the environmental impact of our products and the products of our customers.

The company has changed dramatically since I joined, almost double the workforce and revenue from back then, and a much more competitive product mix.

How do you feel that you are making meaningful impact in your role at Eaton?

This question has many angles to answer. Sometimes the impact of a role can be seen immediately, sometimes some years later in the future.

I think the most impactful for me was being one of the ground breakers for Breaktor - from the first idea in 2017 to serial production it took many years, and within the last years I was not part of this team - still the beginning time was extremely important as we needed to generate a viable business case supporting all this work and associated cost coming with it. Even not being part of the team when the first project win with an OEM was signed, it felt like it for me.

Even if projects that I am working on are lost there is a lot of learning generated with it, we do analyze why we lost and digest the data to do better next time. Also all generated data puts you in a better starting position for the next program as you are not starting from zero anymore.
